Our CAPPA Childbirth Educator Certificate Training is an internationally recognized program and a required educational component toward becoming a CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator (CCCE).

This 18-hour live virtual training prepares you to confidently teach childbirth education in a variety of settings — including private practice, community agencies, healthcare settings, and programs serving newcomers and refugee families.

Parents Coach Network is proud to offer this training in partnership with CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association), with an approach grounded in evidence-based education, trauma-informed care, and cultural humility.

What Is CAPPA Childbirth Educator Training?

CAPPA is an internationally respected organization providing professional education and certification for birth and postpartum professionals.

The CAPPA Childbirth Educator Training equips participants with both content knowledge and teaching methodology, so you learn not only what to teach, but how to teach effectively, ethically, and inclusively.

Faculty support is provided throughout your certification journey, from training completion through CCCE certification.

Refund & Transfer Policy

All cancellations must be made in writing.

  • Cancellations more than six weeks before training:
    Full refund minus $150 administration fee

  • Cancellations six weeks or less before training:
    No refund; applicants may:

    • Transfer to one alternate training within 12 months, or

    • Transfer their registration to another attendee

  • Each registration may be transferred once only

  • Training manuals are non-refundable

  • No-shows are not eligible for refunds or transfers

  • CAPPA Faculty is not responsible for travel-related expenses

  • Faculty reserves the right to reschedule training if necessary
