Our mission is to equip you with excellent skills to facilitate expectant parents physically and mentally for all their upcoming milestones from pregnancy, labour and birth, and postpartum.
Why CAPPA Childbirth Educators Certification?
Becoming a childbirth educator is rewarding and fulfilling, a career that can make a significant impact on the lives of expectant parents. As a childbirth educator, you will have the opportunity to educate and empower families with the knowledge and confidence needed to make informed decisions about their birth experiences. Furthermore, good prenatal education sets the stage for successful early parenting, which is the most important period in a child’s life.
Harvard’s Centre On the Developing Child stated that:
“healthy development in the early years (particularly birth to three) provides the building blocks for educational achievement, economic productivity, responsible citizenship, lifelong health, strong communities, and successful parenting of the next generation.”
The first three years of life are the most impactful in a child’s life. Giving birth is an unforgettable experience and an important life transition. Positive experience in childbirth presents a unique and powerful opportunity for early healthy attachment between parents and newborns.
Our goal is to offer you this amazing expert-level training so you can support new parents in their life transition. Additionally, the demand for qualified childbirth educators is growing, providing a stable and rewarding career path.
This Childbirth Educator training fulfills part of the certification process to become a CCCE (CAPPA Certified Childbirth Educator). A respected credential recognized in North America enables you to teach childbirth classes in Canada and the U.S.
