The training was excellent! Going in, I thought the class would be hours of us just listening to a presenter speak but I was wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed interacting with Amy and the other students in the class. It made the class time go by faster. I would 100% recommend this class to anyone interested in becoming a CCE.,
Honestly, I thought I wouldn’t survive the entire class. due to my fear and lack of confidence. Thankfully, Amy is very hands-on and thorough. She is helpful and patient and makes sure that her Students understand the lecture and the tasks given .Her fun and very engaging games were always a hit. I miss the class already. Amy made the training go by so fast each session. She was accommodating, helpful, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone else that needs to complete the training. Amy made sure it was interactive which can be challenging during online courses or groups.
This training was a great first step towards becoming a childbirth educator. It gave a good overview of the many different topics and highlighted the many activities that can be done both in-person and online to keep students engaged. It was taught from a non-judgemental, inclusive framework and focussed on empowering individuals to make the best choice for themselves.
Loved it! This training was very well organized and delivered in a friendly, non-judgemental way. I was expecting info on childbirth and postpartum but got so much more. Amy gave us tips and tricks to use when teaching, ideas to engage our students, and lots of information on setting up a business. I would highly recommend this training.
The training was great. Amy provided the training in an informative and organized manner. She kept learning methods interesting. Her handouts and presentations were easy to follow. She merged CAPPA information along with Canadian birthing standards and practices. Amy provided a lot of information and support about starting your own business.
